The Open Enrollment Period to have an ACA plan with a January 1, 2019 effective date is ONLY November 1, 2018 to December 15, 2018 . Lane County will have more plans available in 2019 than previous years. It is important for you to review your options this year more than ever, due to the various provider networks.

There are three levels of coverage to choose from: Gold, Silver and Bronze. We will check your prescriptions and provider networks for a good fit. The Federal Marketplace Exchange will mail and email notices to you regularly. It is a good idea to collect these messages.
We will use your 2019 estimated income in order to qualify you for tax credits; having information like a recent 1040 or recent pay stubs can help us make that estimate as accurate as possible. If your income is over 400% of the Federal Poverty Level, then you may purchase a plan direct from the insurance company during Open Enrollment time-frame, but tax credits from the ACA will be unavailable.
Though the long-term political future of the ACA remains tenuous, the market for 2019 is looking remarkably stable. Rate increases nationally are actually a bit smaller than most analysts predicted.
